She was born in 1991 in Kyiv, studied literature and drew attention to herself as a young author with the collection Hluchota (Deafness), which was followed by the books Kalendár poprav and Prison Song. Her lyrics touch on the themes of historical trauma, identity, violence, and human resilience in the face of disaster. Since 2017, she has been working as a medic in the Hospitallers volunteer medical battalion, and she transforms her experiences from the front into strong, urgent poetry. Together with Yevhen Lira, she founded the Unwritten project, which documents the fates of Ukrainian writers, poets and other literary figures killed in the war. Her work has been translated into several European languages and represents a unique testimony of Ukraine, where literature becomes not only art, but also a form of memory and civil resistance.
