About event

Some evenings you don't put on your calendar - you're just there. Three bands, one room, a few familiar faces and the quiet feeling: *this is going to be good.* Let's start with **Me To My Wall** - this time with a delicate, minimal line-up. Fine tones, lots of air in between, quiet magic. Anyone who has ears will find something.

Then **Hush a Bye Baby** – minimal noise punk straight from the gut takes over. Few bells and whistles, a lot of volume, a bit of chaos, but never without attitude.

Finally **Autumn in Beijing** – Finally live again, finally loud again, finally everything again. And if God doesn't mind, it won't be a concert, but a little reunion with the madness.

AUTUMN IN BEIJING

Radical Poetic Popular Music

Autumn in Beijing, founded in 1987 as a wild mixture of sixties psychedelic and punk energy and in the system collapse with "Bakshish Republic" suppliers of a hymn to the historical process, have been using an electronic basis and Dub sounds for many years, with which the dark voice of mastermind Rex Joswig, also known from the cult radio show " Grenzpunkt Null ", celebrates poetic settings. (Alexander Pehlemann, ZONIC)

If underground is what bubbles beneath the surface, then Herbst in Peking are a band from the underground. Their music comes from the depths of the subconscious. In the HIP sound, rock, electronic, doom & shanty mix into a compelling melange. HIP write their own dark poetry & pay respect to great voices from the past & present.
(William Blake/Charles Bukowski/Kai Pohl/Bert Papenfuß/ etc.)

Autumn in Beijing is 300% THC without any hemp, poetry is blatant, music is flashy and voice is radical. (Jens Pittasch, BLICKLICHT June 2016)

The current H.I.P. is presented. Album Faust Am Meer (Moloko+/Peking Records), on which the band further exhausted their concept of electronic, highly jazzed rock music with side arabesques to ambient, dub & shanty. (release: 22/11/25 vinyl)
