🟣 HEREZE are considered a survival of long past - something that the Church no longer has to face. However, Henryk Pietras SJ, a renowned patrologist and author of many books on ancient Christianity, proves that it is not so obvious. His book casts a new light on heresies that appeared at the beginning of Christianity, and at the same time shows that thoughts considered heretical are still alive.
→ What are the modern manifestations of magical thinking that were convicted of centuries ago, and what do perfectionists have in common with renegades?
→ can anyone become a heretic? He acts as a spiritual at the Archbishop's grammar school and the administrator of the parish at St. Jiljí in Prague. He studied classical Greek and Slavic linguistics at the UK and theology in Bordeaux and Toulouse in France. He is interested in Slavic linguistic and reconstruction of Cyril and Methodius Christianity.
Baroque refectory of the Dominican monastery (Jilská 5, Prague 1 entry).
