Hervé Vilard avec les siens

FrancoFolies de La Rochelle, July 2023. After two hours of an extraordinary concert, the long standing ovation from the audience leaves no room for doubts. If Hervé Vilard summoned nostalgia with his greatest hits, it is these new titles – written by the younger generation (Ussar, Martin Luminet, Rouquine, Mokaeish, Abel Chéret, Maud Lübeck…) – which seduced the demanding audience of the festival. A new turn of song, modern and ambitious, in the image of the man he has always been: a conveyor of words and emotions, anchored in his time, ready to extend a hand to the next generation he invites on stage the occasion of these two exceptional concerts at the Café de la Danse. Here is Hervé Vilard again. With his own.
