About event
HEZ – hardcore punk Panama
https://hez666.bandcamp.com/album/detrimento
During their European tour, on July 16, the band HEZ from distant Panama will stop at Tunel Bar in Žižkov. This Central American quartet offers a truly original concept of hardcore punk. Urgent vocals with Spanish lyrics will be appreciated not only by lovers of old-school Latin bands, but also by followers of a more modern sound - especially thanks to the use of echo and a number of guitar effects. These, combined with intense bass and punk drums, create a perfectly played hardcore punk that retains its filth and has a stronger punch than Roberto Durán in his prime.
MATTER TUA – punk Prague/Brno
https://mattertua.bandcamp.com/album/vst-vat-a-ni-it
The title of the debut record, recently christened Matter Tua, could easily become a slogan for those in charge of the highway connecting the band members' hometowns. But don't expect holes, potholes or traffic jams like at the incriminated traffic junction - the recording "Get up and destroy" is full of energy, rawness and directness. This Cajzl-Štatl lineup is clear proof that new and young bands with something to say are still emerging on the DIY hc/punk scene.
