Hieronymus Bosch – Zrcadlo světa: Životní pouť | přednáška Bohumila Vurma

The cycle, in which we delight the most important Bosch works, in which Greek philosophy and the forgotten discoveries of the past come to life. We enter the paintings that are brightly colored and dark. Full of unexpected situations that the painter set on us as a trap that we can easily catch. His life is the path where Bosch's favorite symbols, most often owl. We will show how the painter aptly revealed the corrupt life of the popes and magnates. On the other hand, we feel reconciliation and elevation from the Bosch tunnel to the light, one of the four preserved panels of the polyptych.
