On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the hall of the Social Center at Lesná, Okružní 21, for great interest, we will commemorate the creation, function and end of operation of the old Tišnovka in the territory of the North of Brno with a virtual walk with an expert interpretation of historical photographs.
👉 We will remember this year's May guided walk along the stretch of old Tišnovka, a tour of the bridgehead from the embankment to Vranovské, the placement of artefacts in Tišnovka park, the publication and baptism of both parts of the book "The last train through Brno to the North - 60 years since the demise of old Tišnovka"
👉We will screen the documentary a film about old Tišnovec from the idnes series "Defunct tracks".
👉There will be a virtual guided tour of the route through Brno's North over old historical photographs with an expert interpretation by Jiří Kotrman.
During the event, there will also be a sale of the second parts of the book "The last train through the North of Brno - 60 years since the demise of the old Tišnovka" for an exceptionally discounted price.
