About event
Magdalena is the central figure of a long -time documentary photographic cycle of Lenka Cold called Searching for a safe place.
The name of Magdalena (or Magda) comes from the Hebrew word indicating the "tower" - a symbol of fortress, observation and inner strength. The name Lenka is in turn in various language contexts associated with the meaning of "light", thereby becoming both names (Magdalenka) and symbolic framework of their relationship.
The theme of the photographic cycle is self -acceptance, defining borders, mental health and quality of interpersonal relationships. As a result, photographs have not only aesthetic but also human depth.
Admission to the opening of EUR 5.
Registration in advance is not required.
