About event
Silvie Šeborová has long been interested in conveying art to a children's audience. After a series of non-fiction books (How to paint an egg: The story of the painter Josef Šíma, Sunday party with Picasso, How design is done...), she wrote her first novel – the book Voice of the Forest takes us on a magical, dreamlike journey through the world inspired by Toyen's work.
~ ~ We will use the artist's paintings as inspiration for the workshop in Long Stocking. We will find out what kind of stories can be made up about them and whether it would be possible to create new works from reproductions of paintings.
