About event
We invite you to the screening of a short documentary film from Ukraine🇺🇦, which was created in cooperation with the Memory of the Nation branch in Lviv. The documentary focuses on the stories of Ukrainian women.
🎥 Since 2014: women's stories about Kramatorsk
"We thought the worst was over..."
Four different women - from different backgrounds, different ages, professions and social status - tell about the city and the experience that unites them - about the occupation and liberation of Kramatorsk in 2014. What does it feel like when your national flag becomes a forbidden combination of colors?
After the short-term occupation in 2014, Kramatorsk became the center of the Donetsk region, an active center for business, volunteerism and military assistance. The city grew and flourished, although it has since found itself in the front zone. Our documentary story tells through the voices of the women of Kramator about how everything changed irreversibly from the year fourteen - for them personally and for the whole country - and how their daily work contributes to the victory in a war that has lasted for more than ten years.
The film is followed by a discussion with the creators.
🎟️ Admission is voluntary.
