Brazil has its first Oskar for the best international film. And it deserves a proper film celebration :-)
director Walter Salles, who made the aforementioned and not only Oskar awarded film "Forever with You" (2024), is also the author of the cult film "Main Station" (1998) - and the best way to celebrate such a beautiful victory is to look at him on the big screen! And that's not all - not only that the projection "forever with you" will follow and we will be able to enjoy both films in a single day, but we are preparing for you a short lecture after the film and in the cinema café will be able to buy a typical Brazilian refreshment from Luiza from Brazilian Snaks. subtitles)
A deeply emotional story about separation and loss, when the journey of a former teacher crosses the path of an orphan who just lost his mother and was looking for her unknown father. In addition to Oskar nominations or Baft Award he won the Golden Bear for Best Film and Silver Bear for Fernando Montenegro.
The Oscar for the lead role in the film "Main Station" is the mother of Fernanda Torres, who won the best actress on Golden Globe this year and was nominated for the best Oscar actress for her performance in "Forever with You"? This concludes the family circle of acting talents in Walter's films :-)
