The retreat will be about tuning into yourself and tuning out imbalances. It will be about vibrations and frequencies in sounds and movements. Therefore, the way I want to present this workshop to you is a conversation, so that you can experience whether we are compatible. The interview brings up the topics of harmonizing the nervous system, fluidity and relaxation of the body and its hidden memory for greater peace, inner peace, health and deep regeneration.

🌊 For this training, Monika will bring dance-movement psychotherapy, continuum movement, work with breath, movement, voice and dynamics.

Monika Stehlíková is a somatic therapist with more than twenty years of experience working consciously with the body. She brought dance movement psychotherapy to Slovakia and is the mother of this approach in Slovakia. Her work was greatly influenced by Laban's analysis of movement, many years of practice and education in authentic movement, the Kestenberg approach and intensive practice in tantra, qigong and holotropic breathing. Monika is currently researching Emiliy Conrad's Continuum movement movement approach, which makes the body's fluid system accessible through consciousness, sound and fluid movement. It opens up possibilities to release deep structures in the body and return them to their natural, fluid state. By releasing learned patterns of behavior, stories, and social identity, the human being can return to their primal state of being in full health, flow, and deep connection.


Marián Gliganič uses music as a therapeutic tool in his work. She has been present in his life since childhood. He plays several musical instruments such as the piano, organ, harmonium, pipes, and instruments from different corners of the world. He is engaged in musical improvisation, music therapy and accompanies other artists. He currently works as a music therapist and supervisor in the helping professions. He works with adults in the form of group and individual music therapy, but also with children with special needs, as a Watsu therapist - therapeutic work in water. As tools in his more than 10 years of practice, he also uses the HANDLE CONCEPT (gentle touch technique for stimulating the brain hemispheres), basal stimulation, elements of sensory integration, and work with the body and breath.

COCOA CEREMONY

On Saturday evening, there will be an opportunity to participate in the cocoa-sound ceremony. The cocoa ritual and sound journey is a ritual of rebirth, an opportunity to dive into the depths of your inner self and relax under the influence of the harmonizing vibrations of therapeutic musical instruments. We relax the body and emotions, we can open ourselves to the healing process, in which cocoa will support us. It helps us to tune into our heart to remind ourselves what is really important in life and where we want to go in life. We will support the qualities of kindness, calm and presence in ourselves in order to strengthen these qualities in our everyday life.

Given that the program starts early in the morning before breakfast (morning warm-up) and continues after dinner, I strongly recommend that you stay on site.
