About event
▶ ️ Hmlisto (SK)
The songs of the author and singer of Veronika and her son John, talented guitarist, are based on old folklore, but both enrich him with new, impressive and very original layers. Years of Karlovy Vary Veronika Kicková found a new home in the region of the mountain alone in the Vtáčnik Mountains near Žiar nad Hronom, where it is still possible to live almost as much as it lived a hundred years ago. Life on lazy is not easy and does not offer compromises, which is why in songs enchantment the world of old farmers and ancient mythology is confronted with reality, including all its dark aspects.

Šefrnová (piano) and Petr Hugo Šlik (guitar, vocals). Hugo and I have had hundreds of concerts throughout Bohemia and once wandered to France. So far, they have released four studio albums, with the last (revolver) published in 2025. The professional press on their songs appreciates "friendly melodies, cozy as a village cottage" (Uni), or texts that "… can be childly naive and adult raw, but they will always get you with their disarming sincerity." href = "https://open.spotify.com/artist/3sk3suniuniFW9CC7HK7X1L"> https://open.spotify.com/artist/3suuniuniFW9CC7HK7X1l
