Holding Us
Hold PALESTINE was initially set up for Palestine, and over the course of a year, two events were held.
This event is a special XMAS edition with a fundraising going to Save The Children for Palestine.
So much since has gone on in the world and our worlds feel turned upside down, and this is not confined to the Middle East that is usually perceived as the face of havoc, chaos, and wars.
The grief and rage are intolerable and have broken us on individual levels. And hence we invite every human far from the mainstream gaze to come share with us. We are not meant to do this alone. We ALL need each other more than ever.
*Mainstream is what you perceive it to be.

We stand for justice and peace in squares and chant our broken hearts into the sky and governments that do not seem to hear us, [but we hear each other].
As settler-colonial machines, white superemiacy, racism and separation worldwide expands - it is time for us ALL to come together. Not exclusive to Palestine, Lebanon and/or Yemen, this night intends to welcome all - all who have not found a platform to voice themselves against systems that ensure their silence. We want Lebanese hands to hold Puerto Ricans, Sudan and Congo, Afghanistan and Algeria. This is the tale of horrific history, and how it forms us today.
We invite you to speak in Arabic, Urdu, Portuguese, Bengali, Spanish, Darija, French, Dutch, etc. Whatever it may be. Let's learn from each other, lets us Hold Each Other, lets Hold Us.
Bring it all - whatever your outlet, whether it is speaking, reading, singing, talking, or cooking, the space is open. We want to hold each other in a safe space and go home feeling less alone.
The night will be warm and cosy. Bring yourself exactly as you are.
