Performance was created during a week's residence in Hungary. It stems from the seasonal energy of the upcoming spring and the desire for recovery. In the form of a live ritual, it combines memory, urgency of today and corporeality. On the way around it he creates a temporary community through collective events: spring cleaning, common meals, creation of sounds and tactile meetings. Instead of a fixed story, it is more of an organism responding to impulses - rhythmic, layered and unpredictable.
Performance is part of the Holy Week project, which was initiated by the PAIKKA platform based in Budapest, focused on temporary teams working at the intersection of art and science. The project is connected by art from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Palestine, Ukraine and Taiwan in the collaborative reinterpretation of Easter traditions through rituals. The Shared Practices of Eight International Creators. Rooted in the Seasonal Energy of Spring and the Impulse to Renew, The Piece Blends Ancestral Memory, Contemporary Urgenies, and Embodied Gestures To Form and Living Ritual.
