HORIZONTAL LISTENING IMMERSION

Immerse yourself in a special electro-acoustic sound journey, exploring Deep Listening as a practice of connection and presence.

We invite you to a special electro-acoustic sound journey—an auditory experience inspired by the Deep Listening practices of Pauline Oliveros. In this session, we explore conscious listening as a form of active perception and deep connection with sound, space, and the body.

Through a combination of live-performed and electronically transformed sounds, an immersive sound field unfolds—one that invites you to listen not only with your ears, but with your entire body. By exploring both external and internal sound, we create a space for attentiveness, resonance, and collective listening.

our upcoming horizontal sound immersion will host:

HUMAN - A BIONIC SEANCE BY CHRISTIANE PESCHEK+ERNST LIMA

a journey that transcends traditional soundscapes and sets you in a multidimensional, immersive sonic atmosphere, redefining the very art of deep listening. This monthly series invites audiences to surrender to sound while lying down, as Moon Room commissions a new artist each month to compose and perform an electroacoustic session that expands the boundaries of auditory experience. The upcoming edition features a collaborative commission by Ernst Lima and Christiane Peschek, merging spatial composition with ethereal frequencies and poetic code.

At Moon Room, we are committed to creating an inclusive space that makes our program accessible to as many people as possible. That’s why we offer a social pricing model for every session—no questions asked. If you’d like to make use of this option, simply select the corresponding ticket at checkout. We trust that this opportunity will be used with honesty and deeply appreciate all full-paying participants who help make this option possible. Together, we create a space that is open to all.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE EVENT STARTS SHARP ON TIME. LATER ARRIVALS WONT BW ABLE TO ACCESS THE VENUE. 💕
