HORIZONTAL SOUND IMMERSION: HOŁUBOWSKA w/ MUCIÑO: LOVERS / LICHENS

Immerse Yourself in a Special Electro-Coustic Sound Journey, Exploring Deep Listen As a Practice of Connection and Presence.

We invite you to a special electro-acoustic sound trip-a listening experience based on the deep listening practice from Pauline Oliveros. In this session we research the conscious listening as a form of active perception and deep connection with sound, space and body.

By combining live played and electronically transformed sounds, an immersive sound field that invites you to hear not only with the ears, but with the whole body. By exploring both the exterior and the inner sound, we create a space for attention, resonance and community listening. Mechanism - be it through collaboration, love or mutual support. The Somatic score developed by Hołubowska is structured like an oracle card and allows different configurations and integration. During the live performances, Muciño (bassoon and wind instruments), Hołubowska (voice and electronics) and the AI models from Rave form a symbiotic system that interprets the instructions and interpret sounds like a braid. Fagott, voice and archivist vocals create a permeable network on the threshold on the intimacy between species.

The session is curated by Ernst Lima.
