This Friday 11.04 at 19:00 we invite you to Ovčín to the presentation of the Czech mountaineer Monika Benešová, who tells us her story and shows us how she climbed with Crohn's disease on Mount Everest.
For nearly 25 years it was a secret dream of a little girl, then 10 years of hard workouts and preparations came. And it was Monika a recent pale and exhausted patient with a severe incurable disease. Still, she did not give up, fought and climbed. Without huge expeditions, with just one sash. She faced frostbite, snow blindness, severe physical and mental fall. In the end, she did it and stood on top. Everest tried it very hard, but he taught her that he must always fight for his life.
