⛰️ Žilina Mountains and City Festival 2025
🗓️ October 20-22, 2025
☝️ 13th year of mountain film and adventure
⏰ Already on October 20-22, 2025, the Mountains and City Festival will bring to Žilina an exceptional tour of mountain films, engaging lectures and presentations. Spectators can look forward to inspiring stories of climbers, runners, cyclists and adventurers who push the boundaries of the possible and prove that dreams have no limits.
⛰️ The festival will open on Monday 20 October 2025 with a lecture by Juraj Koreň – Ďurifuk, one of the best Slovak paragliders, an active climber, adventurer and traveler. This year he had a great success when he completed one of the most extreme adventure races in the world - Red Bull X-Alps 2025.
⛰️ On Tuesday 21.10.2025, the audience will be introduced to Nikola Čorbová, who fulfilled her dream and completed the challenging HimalayanXtri 2025 - an extreme triathlon at heart The Himalayas.
☝️ This edition was also created in cooperation with Mountains and the City of Bratislava and the prestigious VIMFF from Vancouver. Thanks to this, the festival will bring to Žilina a selection of award-winning and audience-successful films from around the world, supplemented by strong Slovak documentaries.
