HOSŤ DO DOMU: Plk. Mgr. Viktor Sabo, PhD.

As the General Chaplain of the Headquarters of the Ecumenical Pastoral Service in the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, he has been engaged in pastoral work among soldiers for more than 18 years. He served in foreign missions, experienced Afghanistan several times and was a support soldier directly in the trenches, on guard duty, not only at religious services. He also experienced with them the most difficult moments of loss and death. He has a family, a wife or parish priest and two children. He was the dean of the Armed Forces Academy. M.R. Štefánik in Liptovský Mikuláš. He will tell us about his mission as a clergyman among soldiers even during the most festive time, during the Christmas season, how soldiers perceive it, far from their families, how to support and help them spiritually, and also how to be a good father and husband at the same time. Come and listen.
