HOT Het Orgel Trio | Colors of Hendrix

Release concert of the new album Colors of HOLT of HOT Het Orgel Trio (Zennez Records), on which they are inspired by the genius of the American guitar giant.

After projects with contemporary hercompositions of jazz greatests such as Charlie and Duke Illington and Duke Illington and Duke Illington Sweelinck, hot in this new program with a very unique vision of the work of blues rock legend Jimi Hendrix.
There are no screaming or reinforced guitars in the acoustic program, but the singing and whining strings of the Catalan cellist Pau Sola Masafrets. Great organ sounds mix with BlueSlicks in Foxey Lady. But Hot is also looking for the stillness, such as in Hey Joe, that goes back from very small to very large and very small. In Voodoo Child, minimal rhythmic patterns lead to a large mesmerizing structure in which the space fills with enthusiastic breath.

Steven Kamperman - Clarinet
Dion Nijland - Contrabas
Berry van Berkum - Organ
Pau Sola Masafrets - Cello
