This project aims to develop an artistic action that has as its starting point the experience of anxiety caused by the crisis and potential climate catastrophe and its consequent performativity. The project is developed through artistic residencies with the presentation of a final show on December 11, 2024 at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (Amadora).
The original text, work by Andreia Galvão and Bárbara Soares, was selected in 2024 for the “Cycle of New Dramaturgies” by the company “O Fim do Teatro” in collaboration with the Rectory of the University of Lisbon, giving rise to a radio version, a staged reading and its publication.< br/>
In a context of the need for global responses to the problem of social and economic reorganization in the face of planetary limits, this project seeks to reflect on the urgent responsibility of all of us in the fight for a habitable planet.
Jardins do Bombarda is a cultural and community center promoted by LARGO Residências, in partnership with Estamo and a group of resident socio-cultural organizations. Part of its activity has the financial support of the Lisbon City Council (RAAML / Ação Cultural e Programa BIP-ZIP).
