Žleby Castle is a magnificent romantic residence of the Auersperg family, which still houses extensive collections of weapons, luxury furniture and original everyday objects. The castle offers visitors an excursion into the everyday life of the nobility in the 19th century.
Castellan Mgr. Tomáš Řehoř, on Tuesday, December 10, from 5 p.m. The lecture takes place at the Prague headquarters of the NPÚ in the U Voříkovské house (Liliová 5). Admission to the lecture is free.
The series of lectures Conversations with the castellans will introduce you to the House of Habsburg this year, which is the subject of the project In the Footsteps of Noble Houses for 2024. Come and meet the castellans in person, who will introduce you to the historical context of selected objects on which this important family worked, and with its personal story.
