Howe Gelb is an Arizonian musician, composer and producer, known primarily as the founder and frontman of Giant Sand. His work, whether solo or collaborative, is characterized by an eclectic and implemented approach with which it combines the effects of country, blues, southwestern psychedelia, jazz, tex-mex, indie rock and narcotic atmosphere of home Tucson. During his career he worked with a number of essential names (John Parish, PJ Harvey, M. Ward or something Case) and participated in the formation of several dozen albums. Cousteau.
