– with whom does music communicate? and with whom do you communicate through music? with the audience? with yourself? with a composer?
Let's talk together about what music is actually for, why we play it and why we listen to it. What do we feel, what gives us meaning and strength to move on, and what, on the contrary, blocks us.
We dedicate the last event of the Convergence festival this year
to music students, because we want them to look for answers to questions that are not always easy with us. We will meet in the beautiful surroundings of the Prügerka Community Center in Horsky Park, cook punch and give cake, and above all - we will communicate freely.
Zoltán Sýkora is not unknown to musicians - in cooperation with the Konvergencie festival, he has already led several workshops and seminars focused on the topic of stage fright and trauma. Zoltán (or "Zoli", as we all freely call him) is a physiotherapist with a psychotherapeutic education with 17 years of experience, who since 2015 has been dealing with the relationship between human experience and the body - what impact experience has on the internal organ and movement system of a person. He has extensive experience, worked in various hospital departments, with seniors, with people with neuromuscular diseases, but also with top athletes. During his work, he noticed that the body has the ability to store information about past experiences and, under certain conditions, it is possible to bring this information to the surface and use it for the further growth of a person. He was born and raised in Bratislava, where he obtained a master's degree in the field of physiotherapy.
The maximum number of applicants is limited (12).
The registration fee is 10 EUR.
