Hudba na Vyšehradě: Tomáš Sýkora & Aid Kid

The concert series Music in Vyšehrad will continue in May. This time, Tomáš Sýkora & Aid Kid will perform together at Purkrabstvi.

Pianist Tomáš Sýkora and producer Aid Kid meet in an open space of improvisation, where there are no predetermined boundaries or a script. Although their paths have been crossing for a long time - whether as part of a jazz trio or in the creation of film music - joint concerts for piano and live electronics are each time a completely new, unwritten chapter.

The music arises from immediate inspiration, from a dialogue between the traditional piano and modern technologies. The result is a dynamic fusion of jazz and electronica in a sonically captivating form that is as adventurous for the listener as it is for both artists on stage.
