Hudba na Vyšehradě: Kontrabas, harfa, housle

The second May concert from the regular series Music in Vyšehrad. This time at Purkrabstvi, the exceptional trio Double bass, harp, violin will be presented.

When violin, harp and double bass come together in one hall – a trio of instruments that only rarely meet on stage – music with a completely new energy is created. And it is this imaginative and rare combination of instruments that is the central charm of the evening, which will once again revive the historic premises of the Purkrabstvo.

Three top performers - violinist Jan Jouza (Czech Philharmonic), harpist Roxana Hädler (State Opera and Philharmonic Hradec Králové) and double bassist Adam Honzírek (leader of the double bass group of the Czech Philharmonic) invite you to a concert that combines elegance, delicacy and temperament.

The program will include, among other things, Fünf Tangos by Ástor Piazzolla – rhythms that will resound with new color, depth and surprising sparkle in this original cast.
