About event
Poems and songs, poetry set to music, Seifert, Skácel, Hrabě, Holan, Hrubín, Kainar... actress Kristýna Ryška (formerly Podzimková) forged in recitation, keyboardist and guitarist Ondřej Fencl settled in music.
Musically - a poetic-theatre project with the aim of "rehabilitating" poetry in the sense of returning it to the people. Today, poetry is considered something archaic, something from the times of our grandmothers, or from textbooks. At the same time, appropriately chosen poems by Jaroslav Seifert, Václav Hrabět or Jan Skácel are something that every perceptive individual will fall in love with, if it is presented to him otherwise than as obligatory literature from the pen of long-dead statues. Seifert wrote about love from similar angles to today's pop music workers, only with all due respect to them a little more tastefully. "I've been writing poems since I was a child - if you send, for example, a SMS rhyme that has a soul, it resonates practically 100%. And that's not because of me, but because people simply find a well-presented, enhanced emotion convenient, or even missing, and it doesn't matter if a person is twenty or sixty," says the creator of the idea, the forty-two-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist Ondřej Fencl (among other things, Vladimír Merta's teammate or Luboše Pospíšila).
In addition to Fencl, the backbone of the project is the versatile actress Kristýna Ryška, a native of Rožnov, known for example from the films Methanol, Guru, Bábovky, Absurdistán, from the series Zlatá Labuť, Král Šumavy, Ochránce, Bez consciousness, Street. A graduate of the Janáček Conservatory, she tried her hand at recitation, for example, in composed programs with Hradišťan.
KRISTÝNA RYŠKA (formerly Podzimková)
She comes from Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, where she went to folklore ensembles and other circles from an early age, which naturally resulted in studies at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, majoring in music and drama under the direction of Marie Logojdová. Her love for folklore caught her permanently. After her studies, she joined the Těšín Theater, where she received great acting opportunities (Maryša, Skrivánek, Slunce pro dvo, Motýli) and also an award from the director of the theater Karol Suzsky. In 2008, German director Veit Helmer chose her from a pan-European casting for the lead role in the film Absurdistan, which then successfully toured world film festivals, including the legendary Robert Redford's Sundance. Other work smoothly followed each other. In the Czech Republic, thanks to this film, she was invited to an audition for the TV series Ulice, and then spent five years in the company of the characters of They Nekonečné. After a year of commuting between Český Těšín and Prague, she finally moved to the capital. She gradually began to perform as a guest in Prague theaters, which continues to this day. He plays an average of five theaters during the season. He continuously appears in Czech TV series as well as commercial ones. He considers the role of Vlasta in David Ondříček's series Král Šumava, the role of Iveta in the two-part Czech television film Metanol and the role of Miluš in the six-part miniseries Hbo Bez Vědomí to be the most outstanding characters from the latter. She plays the piano, dulcimer, flute, she considers the best music to be by The Beatles, she likes to go to Italy, she loves cakes, black tea, Wallachia, she reads non-fiction, she would like to act with Brad Pitt, her favorite actor is Belmondo and she admires the heroes of the resistance such as Václav Morávek.
