Jan Ponocný - 25 years alongside Ivan Král, 23 years next to Meky Žbirka, 26 years with Václav Koubek... A brilliant guitarist, but also a perfect professional who has enough taste not to draw attention to himself next to the main star. But what could be done, the originality and excess of ideas finally had to come out, so Honza Ponocný came up with his one-man show Circus Ponorka.

And only at that moment did colleagues and listeners' jaws drop in amazement. In private, a quiet man turns into a captivating showman on stage, who entertains the audience with an unexpected geyser of music, forks and ideas - and seems to easily create catchy hits with the help of one guitar and a bunch of loopers. At the same time, he is a recognized composer of film and theater music. At the concerts of Circus Ponorka, you often have the feeling that you know this guy from somewhere - yes, it's usually from Dabing Street, Revival or the popular movie Perfect Days.
But you easily forget the entire musical history of Honza Ponocný when he comes on stage a slender man in a white suit with a black hat dances, rakes the strings and steps on the first box. The audience at his concerts usually hold their breath in the first minute and take a deep breath only after the last encore. Circus Ponorka is addictive, and whoever has met him once is hooked forever.
