About event
Prague has witnessed many key moments of Czech history. One of the most important is the beginning of the Hussite Revolution, and in the footsteps of this stormy epoch, the participants of this walk are set out. Then the participants move to the Bethlehem Chapel, the legendary place where Jan Hus himself preached. He then heads to the chain street, where Jan Žižka, after injury to the eye, found refuge and was treated. Another stop will be the Old Town Hall with a memorial plaque of the radical priest Jan Želivský. The wandering will end with the majestic Tyn Temple, which hides the grave of one of the important but semi -forgotten figures of the Hussiteness - the priest and the later Archbishop Jan Rokycany, who significantly worked between 1424–1471. and other key personalities of this stormy era of history. The guide after this stormy time is Miroslav Houška, author of the book chalice and crescent .
