About event
Prominent personalities of Czech fashion design – Zuzana Kutálková (Leeda), Anna Tran and Josefína Bakošová, will overshadow all algorithms for a moment and give us a glimpse into their readers' diaries, both past and present.
They will talk about the books and texts that shaped their way into fashion and their approach to design. What books inspired them to start designing and sewing? Were they essays or prose? When did you read The Devil Wears Prada and when did you read Susan Sontag? And did they read them at all? Are their approaches to fashion and thus their reading preferences changing? Get your notebook ready, the evening will be full of literary tips that you can't do without, unless you just want to wear a plain blue sweater.
Literary evenings in the dramaturgy of the editors of the magazine Prostor in the HYB4 Reading Room are realized with the financial support of the head of City of Prague, the Ministry of Culture and the State Culture Fund of the Czech Republic.
