About event
(Eng Below) Two atmospheric bands join forces on a common tour, aptly named 100% safe to consume. Come to taste their Synto guitar ride. The international line -up with members from Sweden, France and Italy was established in 2021 after a random meeting at the Suuns concert and quickly became a star of Berlin underground thanks to energetic concerts. Samples and electroacoustic percussive work. The songs got into selection playlists for Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal, and were also heard on the waves of Berlin radios. Sophisticated melodies and sound details will appeal to fans of Alt-J or Radiohead, but their approach to creation is so distinctive that it defies simple inclusion. - Loudness blog
In 2024, they released their second album Sketches of the Moon, which represents a more organic and introspective location of the band. The album, mixed by Riley Macintyreem, draws inspiration from Desert Blues, Nois and Lynch's film atmosphere. It combines tunted vocals, fading baritone guitars and experiments with samples and electroacoustic effects - including the metal sound of the shoulder blade on Tarte Flambée. The result is an intimate sound world that transforms the international identity of the band into an impressive panoramic testimony. The album, released in February 2025, oscillates between melancholy and transcendence and brings moody scenes from casual Desert Blues to nostalgia of analogue tapes and raw aesthetics of modern romance. After the baptism in Badehaus Berlin, the album quickly caught up on streaming platforms, where over 80,000 players scored over the first month. The band performed live on Radioeins and went on touring on Germany and France. Their debut album Are We Taking It Slowly (2022) crossed the 100,000 Spotify playback and soon noticed the Munich India Label Schaufel & Besen Records, under which the band released EP Conform deform (December 14, 2023). Floods, released on September 13, 2024. The sound of Digital Carbs on this album represents more dynamically than ever - from dark beautiful acoustic ballads to frantic guitar explosions. Although the individual compositions are very diverse, they are connected by the theme: the feeling of helplessness in the face of the current state of the world. Digital Carbs again confirm their ability to transform deep emotions into captivating music. Fruit
