hypo is a performative installation about the relationship of man to his body and to know that one day inevitably fails. Maybe right now, perhaps in a direct consequence of ringing in the ears or because of the strange bulge on your hand. For God's sake, what do I have on my hand for a strange bulge? I get it… not the negoogli. Seriously, don't look for it. Okay, maybe you can only vygooglick only a small, tiny part, something really specific… Oh, God… in corporate advertising.
The result is a multidisciplinary dive into the world of hypochondria. As a source of creative inspiration. Like a toxic brand that urgently needs rebranding. As full of absurd humor. As a means of laughing at yourself. Like a proud family line ranging from Andy Warhol through Marcel Proust to Charlotte Brontë. As a logical reaction to life in the body that fails one day. We will laugh, maybe we will cry and may have achieved the state of embodied euphoria. Anna Tichá
