„Between us, movement and sound share a language. Through an improvisational practice of deep listening and instant composition, dancer Taylor Unwin, and musician Tobias Link, connect and journey together through a conversation of the subconscious. A shared understanding is reached through expression and sensing as one, the audience and place pertinent in the energetic exchange.“

TAYLOR UNWIN works as a freelance dancer-choreographer in Berlin. Her interests revolve around embodiment and imagination while her practices weave together fine and performing arts with somatics. Previously based in Los Angeles, she regularly performed with The Assembly Dance, Fabe Dance, and Bloc Talent Agency. In addition, she performed in Academy Award winning experimental film Simulacra, (antiquated) Augmented Reality at Sundance Film Festival and LACMA, and Hive Rise with Industry Opera at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. In Berlin, she participates in freelance performance projects with KDV Performance Group and Sugar Army Collective. Continuing her choreographic development, she has created work in the Bad Lemons Project choreographic residency and as Resident Choreographer for Iowa Choreography Festival. She is currently offering her creative practice via choreography, teaching, and somatic bodywork practices.

TOBIAS LINK is a Berlin-based musician, composer, and improviser. He studied trombone and improvisation in Cologne, Lucerne, and Essen. As co-founder of the EAT THE FROG Kollektiv (Münster/Berlin), he creates interdisciplinary projects blending music, dance, and performance. Their album UNCIVILISATION - The Dark Mountain Manifesto was released in April 2025 on JazzHausMusik featuring Hayden Chisholm. Having also trained in multiple somatic approaches, he loves combining and researching sound, movement and improvisation.
