I Love You Honey Bunny + Brankos Bridge

Czech indie-rock bands I Love You Honey Bunny and Brankos Bridge will perform at Café V lese.

I Love You Honey Bunny is an indie-pop band from Prague. The English lyrics quite understandably directed the band to foreign stages. They have more than 400 concerts across Europe, a tour in Canada and participation in prestigious world festivals such as Sziget (Hungary), Envol et Macadam (Canada) or domestic prestigious Rock for People and Colours of Ostrava events. In April 2023, they released their second album We Just Had a Wonderful Time, which was created under the production supervision of Koen van de Wardt (Klangstof) and Steven Graham Ansell (Blood Red Shoes) on the imaginary axis Prague – Amsterdam - Brighton.

Behind Branko's Bridge, the energy of live music that the Prague quartet can serve to their fans speaks. Regardless of their age or genre preference. Anyone who wants to get to know the finalists of Czeching 2022 must go to see them at a concert as part of the tour for the debut album Hobby Horse Cowboy, which was released in May 2024. The distinctive sound of Branko's Bridge is made up of four young musicians from Prague. In the composition of two guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, bass guitar, surprisingly sharp vocals and drums, the band mixes seemingly distant genres, especially psychedelic rock, disco and post punk. However, Branko's Bridge does not rely on genre boxes and includes dreamy songs with modern arrangements and sound. The debut album Hobby Horse Cowboy includes all of this in its breadth. The songs from the album remain in the portfolio of Czech radio stations, they appear in aftermovies. But the power of the band is best grasped live.
