About event
The National Remembrance Theatre, which has long been dedicated to the processing of real memorial stories in the form of theater, is opening new chapters in its activities. In addition to its own projects and studios for youth, it brings professional foreign productions to the Czech Republic, which (not only) offer young people inspiration and the opportunity to get to know different theater approaches. The first swallow is the Danish ensemble NORPOL and its performance I TRUST YOU.

Where: House of National Minorities, Vocelova 602/3, 120 00 Vinohrady

Experience the power of art and activism. Join us for the Czech premiere of I TRUST YOU, brought to you by Denmark's NORPOL.
The performance I TRUST YOU starts after a stormy collaboration between director Daniel Norback and a Russian art activist. It has been years in the making but has suddenly collapsed. Out of the crises emerges a remarkable tale of trust.
I TRUST YOU takes you on a journey into a milieu of Russian artists and activists who oppose the war in Ukraine and the regime in Russia. Through SMS correspondences, audio recordings, and letter exchanges with friends of imprisoned artists, the performance explores the courage needed to criticize the Russian rule. What gives the strength to continue when the repercussions are daunting, and who can be trusted?
The performance is in English and about 80 minutes long.
When: November 28th and 29th, 2024
Where: House of National Minorities, Vocelova 602/3, 120 00 Vinohrady
FREE ADMISSION, but limited capacity - more information and ticket reservation here:
