About event

Ian Paice from Deep Purple will perform along with the excellent band Purpendicular on the Czech-Slovak tour.

iconic drummer Ian Paice, founder and member of the star Deep Purple, will perform together with other excellent musicians in the Purpendicular group on the Czech-Slovak tour. He remains the only member of Deep Purple, who has worked in every line -up since their foundation in 1968 and played on every album and every live performance. In 2016, as a member of Deep Purple, it was introduced to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Purpendicular boasts an impressive line -up, including Nick Fyffe, a former bassist Jamiroquai, and Murray Gould, a seasoned guitarist who performed alongside Legends as Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamass and Elton John. It brings its unmistakable groove and energy. The concert consists of previous classics by Deep Purple and Whitesnake. Do not miss this show and listen to the best of Deep Purple directly from the source - co -founder and member of this legendary band.

Purpendicular are:

Ian Pain - Drums (UK)
Robby Thomas Walsh - Singing (IRL) (ITA)

The music of Deep Purple itself is characterized by the balance of brilliant musicality and monumental simplicity. Pain himself appeared next to Deep Purple with Whitesnake, Gary Moore, Paul McCartney, The Spencer Davis Group, Velvet Underground or The Maze to name at least some.

A large share and participates in it and still has.

Deep Purple have broken down into eight years, from 1976 to 1984, during which Pain was a member of two bands in which other members of Deep Purple: Pain Ashton Lord (also played Jon Lord) in 1976-1978 and Whitesnake (also played by Jon Lord and David Coverdale) in years 1979–1982. He was then a drummer Gary Moora from 1982 until Deep Purple was reborn in 1984. He also played drums such as tour and/or studio musician for other artists, including Velvet Underground, George Harrison and Paul McCartney. The band!

The whole tour will take place as part of Metronome Moon Series.
