We invite you to the premiere of the production darkness already 23.6. in the Stoka Theater. You will have a good mood, theater and rattle.
After his departure, the ensemble decided to honor his memory by the fact that the productions created after his life will no longer be listed under the auspices of the Stoka Theater. Instead, there is a new file name - the Institute of Blaha Uhlár (IBU).
The first production under the IBU is a project created in co -production with the Association of Divadelná Nitra, which will be premiered at the Stoka Theater and also at the prestigious Festival Theater Nitra.
IBU symbolically opens a new chapter, but remains faithful to the original poetics, creativity and critical spirit that characterized the Blaha of Uhlár. The dark stage space evokes the inner worlds of the characters - fear, uncertainty, manipulation - while this black emptiness magically emerges magically colorful characters contrasting with the gloomy atmosphere. Fragmentary dialogues full of emotional tension blend dynamically with expressive physical acting and artistic events. The visual concept is constantly changing - fog, disappearing figures, psychedelic elements, and aggressive sound dramaturgy create a dream, nightmare or absurd ritual. In the spirit of the poetics of Blaha Uhlár, he combines harsh grotesque with existential questions, not avoiding extreme emotions. It draws the viewer into a world where the borders between the game and reality are constantly blurring, and dives into the dark corners of the human psyche. Miriam Struhárová
