● Martina Hajdyla Lacová has 20 years of dance experience, three children, the artistic platform ME-SA and the Thália prize.
● Martina Trusková has 20 years of life, two siblings, ALDENTE Theater, countless identities and also Down syndrome.

❯❯ A fragile, funny and disarming meeting of two worlds, which shatters our ideas about talent, normality and all kinds of identities, will be presented for the first time in Prague at the Venus Theater in Švehlovka. ❮❮

☁︎☼☽Balancing on the border between (dance) theater and ritual and on the contrast between a dancer and a performer with Down syndrome. An experiment with the perception of the viewer, who is sometimes a voyeur, sometimes the one who is observed; sometimes he is himself, sometimes someone else, and sometimes part of a whole, a unified entity. With the help of the play and images, the viewer recognizes the contradiction between desired and real identity, body identity and mind identity, own identity and identity assigned by society.☁︎☽☀︎

Plato asks: are we seeing the real reality or are we just in a cave and are we watching mere reflections of things?
I ask: Do we know who we ourselves are, or are we just submitting to the world's ideas? Do we evaluate on the basis of a real encounter and knowledge, or on the basis of shadows and echoes?
In direct conflict with the specific vision of the world of the performer Martina Trusková, all philosophies, all parables and all ways of describing reality seem to lose their credibility. The rules of the game are changing and space is opening up for a different common existence.
I am glad that the dancer Martina Hajdyla Lacová from the artistic platform ME-SA has joined us in this exploration, whose experience of grasping the world through the body complements and develops our many years of experience in searching for theatrical dialogue with actors with different performative abilities.

It is tempting for us to explore the process of acquiring various identities, which Martina Trusková brings to the project, as well as the question of what dialogue between a body shaped by dance practice and a body with Down syndrome can bring.
