About event
Strange flowers, black lipstick, hungry seagulls, wrinkly hands in the bathtub, volcanoes and
murdering cowboys - these all make up the world of Ida The Young. This
five-member band stands out both with intimate, straightforward vocals and captivating
lyrics, as well as colorful instrumentation in which they are not afraid to mix genres.
On their debut EP Strange Shaped Flowers from 2023, they uniquely
combine folk and Americana influences. With the subsequent more electronic EP
Silver Thing, they started cooperation with the Ostrava label Korobushka Records.
In addition to the growing experience from Czech and Slovak clubs and festivals
(Beseda u Bigbítu, Vivat Vila, Hacienda Barcelona, Sharpe), the band also
regularly performs concerts abroad.
