About event
Housing for young people in Slovakia is becoming one of the biggest challenges today. That is why we are organizing a competition event where we will look for specific solutions to the housing shortage.
We want to hear your ideas and your proposals for the competition assignment:
How to make housing more affordable for young people in Košice?
🗓️ When? Thursday 30.4.2026, 14.00 - 20.30
📍 Where? PS Spacer, Jesenná 2, Košice
Prices? All competing teams will take vouchers to the Artforum bookstore.
The second most successful team and electronics.
And the former can look forward to a 2-day trip to Bratislava connected with a visit to the National Council with Dávid Dej.
Programme:
14.00-15.00 Networking and assignment presentation
15.00-18.00 Group work and consultations
18.00-18.30 Break
18.30-19.30 Final presentations
19.30-20.30 Evaluation
Consultations will give you one of the youngest members of the National Council, Dávid Dej, and analyst of the Martin Filka Institute, Tono Grómoczki, who is behind the latest study on housing in Slovakia.
You can look forward to Martin Mudrák, candidate for mayor of Košice, Katarína Miňová from the UPJŠ Department of Public Policy and a secret guest.
Teams of 3-4 members compete in the Deathathon. If you don't have a team, don't despair and apply yourself, you will be assigned to a team. Confirm your participation through this registration form.
