About event
The last of the Master class series organized as a companion program to the exhibition Identity: The Story of Czech Design will be devoted to the Identity of the book and will be introduced by Martin Pecina.
Why do we still produce paper and why do we publish books? Is it still worth writing something when everything has been said and when even a computer can write better than most of us? Do we need graphic designers for something? And wouldn't it be better if they were doing something useful, like digging canals, washing dishes or knitting sweaters? Martin Pecina cannot answer any of these questions. But he likes books, so he shares his experience designing them. Maybe it will be useful for someone else. Or not.
