About event
The logo of the capital city of Prague was created more than 20 years ago. The red square with four language variants of the word Prague, which represent all world languages using the Latin alphabet, confirmed its timelessness. This year, after thorough surveys and research, in cooperation with Czechdesign, the uniform visual style manual was updated. The Masterclass will focus on the creation process and key outputs that will be visible in the streets from the new year.
The fourth lecture in the Master class series is a companion program to the exhibition Identity: The Story of Czech Graphic Design, which runs from October 12 to February 2 at Museu Kampa. The lectures develop the themes appearing in the exhibition and the experts bring their own interesting perspective on the phenomena we encounter every day: Lumír Kajnar presented the Identity of the school, Jozef Dobrik the Identity of the state and Tomáš Machek the Identity of mass transport. The last of the Master class series with Martin Pecina will then focus on the Identity of the book.
