IGersWalk „100 JAHRE RADIO“ - IM TECHNISCHEN MUSEUM WIEN

IGersWalk “100 YEARS OF RADIO” - IN THE TECHNICAL MUSEUM VIENNA Monday, December 2, 2024 | 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

🎙️ On the air since 1924 - A century of radio history experience!

Accompany us on a journey through time through the history of radio and discover the anniversary exhibition “100 Years of Radio”! A fascinating insight into the world of radio in Austria unfolds on over 800 m² - from the first experiments of radio hobbyists in the 1920s to the technical milestones of the modern radio landscape. Even back then, radio was much more than just entertainment: it served as a technical experiment, a political mouthpiece and a reflection of social changes.

The exhibition “100 Years of Radio” shows around 500 exciting objects that bring this development to life – from early live broadcasts and records to digital productions.

After the exhibition tour, a creative recording station in the SoundLAB as well as drinks and finger food await you.
