IMAGINARIO/ Adriana JÁNOŠOVÁ BÚTOROVÁ_Vernisáž výstavy

We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition of paintings on April 11, 2025 at 18.00 h. The word imaginario comes from Portuguese and means "imaginative", "fictional" or "related to imagination." It maps the juiciness of life in seaside countries (very often it is Majorca), in which she feels "at home" and this atmosphere is trying to succeed as much as possible and transform into creation. This time, however, with a greater departure from visible reality. The exhibition can be understood as a survey of imagination - from surrealistic and fantasy realism through illustrations to more abstract paintings. Textures to create a new work, a new testimony. The exhibition acquires a layered and associative character. A combination of realistic and abstract elements that disrupt the perspective of reality. Unexpected connections, reduced or enlarged elements, collage layering, unusual shapes and textures. Secret of the sea through hidden objects like windows to other worlds - the sea as a portal through which you can see a different reality, unknown countries.
