In Jazz We Trust: Oskar Török + Nikolaj Nikitin + ďalší

The series of events In Jazz We Trust led by saxophonist Nikolay Nikitin will present a unique line-up.

The band brings together outstanding personalities of the Slovak and international jazz scene, each of whom brings their own signature to the common sound. Oskar Török on the trumpet is known for his distinctive tone, lyrical expression and ability to connect modern jazz with European melody. Nikolaj Nikitin on the saxophone stands out for his energetic improvisation, rhythmic precision and strong expressive tension, which adds dynamism and contrast to the music. The harmonic pillar of the band is Ľuboš Šrámek, a pianist with rich experience from international projects, who sensitively balances between the support of soloists and his own inventive expression. Earl Joshua Frost-Izumi on the double bass brings a solid groove, musicianship and deep understanding of the jazz tradition, while his playing creates a stable foundation even in open improvisations. The rhythmic energy and pulse of the band is shaped by Jakub Turác, whose feeling for detail, dynamics and interaction makes the drums an equal partner in the musical dialogue. double bass
