About event
[For English Please Scroll Down]
We cordially invite a two-day dance-movement workshop of choreographer Jar Viňarský.
🟠 When: 8. - 9. 3. 2025 (schedule below)
🟠 Where: gym - residential center for dance (Račianska 78, new Cvernovka) Lower
Workshop capacity is limited!
The workshop will take place in the Slovak/English language as needed. The level of dance experience does not matter, the taste is to explore and work with yourself and your body yes. The body is a container of memory, but also a place of forgetting.
I examine the movements that could remind us of how to enjoy together. It examines how specific movements - their order and repetition - can awaken collective feelings of joy.
How do we embody joy? How do we perceive it and how it is transmitted when we share it with others?
Take your clothes that are an expression of the Celebration concept for you, and at the same time you can move freely. Do not forget about thick socks or comfortable shoes (the room is cool). Shoes must have a white sole!
