The price of the workshop also includes a ticket to the SOFT SPOT performance on December 7. 2024 at 8 p.m. in the PONEC theater.

The workshop is suitable for the lay and professional public.

⚫️ SOFT SPOT is an experimental physical performance created in collaboration with Slovak dancers Martina Hajdyla, Soňa Ferienčíková and Hungarian choreographer Adrienn Hód. Through improvisation and research of the physical body, they explore the relationship between body, personality and meaning. What do we perceive when we look at the human body? What does the face, gesture, position and movement of the body tell us? How do we communicate through the body with others? Soft Spot plays with the blurring of human characteristics, asks what defines us as people, and looks for some kind of hidden sensitive "soft spot" inside ourselves.

• Adrienn Hód is a choreographer based in Budapest. Since 2007, he has led HODWORKS, an internationally recognized dance group focused on contemporary dance. In her works, she deconstructs the structures of body, movement, space and music to rebuild them in surprising ways. While working in the studio, she creates intimate situations in which she gives dancers the space and trust to open up to their physicality, feelings and emotions. Her methods are based on improvisation, which then manifests itself on stage within the structure. She is not afraid to work in uncharted territory.

She began her professional movement education by studying at the Dance Conservatory of Eva Jaczová in Bratislava, continued her studies in Prague (Academy of Performing Arts), Antwerp (The Royal Conservatoire) and Salzburg (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance).
