🇮🇳 2ND YEAR OF THE INDIAN FESTIVAL IN NITRA 🇮🇳
We will enjoy the longest day of the year, which is also the International Yoga Day, together again in the beautiful city park in Nitra.
A rich cultural, entertainment and sports program awaits us:

The adventurer Marek Slobodník will come to the Royal Enfield and Dorota Nvotová & Band and the fantastic Indian band VAYU will perform, among others countries.
ADMISSION IS FREE!
Also thanks to the support of the City of Nitra and the Embassy of the Republic of India.
📅 21.6. (Sunday) our park will pulsate with the atmosphere of India.
We will celebrate the International Day of Yoga with a full-day practice, which will be started by Martina Komorová at 10:30. It will be followed by classes with other top instructors. At 6:15pm, the final class will begin with Jaiwanti Singh!
There will be Indian food stalls and food trucks. Those interested will be able to enjoy an Ayurvedic massage from 2 different Ayurvedic centers or a henna tattoo in the mehndi tent right in the park.
Children and adults will participate in a cricket match with the JLR Nitra team from Nitra and the Friends XI Bratislava team from Bratislava 🏏
🥻 DRESS CODE?
Many people tell us that they will come in Indian, oriental or festival clothes. :)
🪷 WHAT TO BRING?
We will be happy if you bring your own cushions, pillows, blankets or exercise mats to the yoga zone.
🎶 MUSIC PROGRAM
As part of the musical performances, we will be presented by the Polish duo Yugma Suryah (3:00 p.m.), Dorota Nvotová & Band (6:30 p.m.) and the festival will culminate with a concert of fantastic VAYU bands (19:30).
There will also be dance groups performing a mix of regional Indian dances with modern Bollywood style. The braver ones will be able to participate in workshops and learn new dance steps.
DJ Puneet Dhiman will perform a remarkable electronic mix of Indian music with mantras and a touch of the West 🎧
👧 PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AND ART ZONE
For the little ones, as well as their parents, theater artist Lenka Múková will perform a performance about Jagannath.
Amrit Deol and I will be in the art zone throughout day to create mandalas 𑁍

Don't miss upcoming standup comedy performances.
Afzal, Sid and Ali are Indians living in Vienna and Budapest for a long time. Topics such as adaptation to life in Europe, language barriers and intercultural misunderstandings will offer a unique perspective and, in addition to entertainment, may also enrich us.
Performances will take place in English.

📅 On Sunday, June 21, our park will be filled with the atmosphere of India.
We will celebrate the International Day of Yoga with a full day of yoga classes, starting at 10:30 with Martina Komorová. She will be followed by classes with other excellent instructors (including our Jaiwanti Singh at 6:15 PM!).
There will be stalls and food trucks with Indian food. Visitors will also be able to enjoy Ayurvedic massages directly in the park, provided by 2 different Ayurvedic centers, or get henna tattoos in the mehndi tent.
Children and adults can take part in cricket activities with the Nitra team JLR Nitra and the Bratislava team Friends XI Bratislava 🏏
