Do you want to focus on the topic of the quality of life in the city, which has not been given much time in schools?
Do you want to get to know the methodical approach LEARN - FIND OUT - JOIN, which you can use with the pupils for work with this topic and other topics in the field of active citizenship?
Sign up for a free informational webinar about the online course ŽIJEME MĚSTEM, where we will introduce you to the entire course and its use in teaching in more detail. The webinar takes place on October 23, 2024 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the Zooom platform and is intended for teachers of children in the 2nd grade of elementary schools and lower years of multi-year grammar schools.
1) The first part of the mentioned of access - UČ SE - is divided into five chapters dealing with the following topics:
- The city as a community - a common and shared city
- City environment
- Safety and transport
- A city for all
- Participation
2) The FIND OUT part leads children to investigate one of the above-mentioned topics in their surroundings, helping them to prepare and implement their own research or mapping.
3) Part ONE then helps children prepare and implement their own project that would improve some aspect of life in their surroundings.
At the webinar you can expect:
✔ presentation of the structure of the program parts and chapters of the course
✔ practical example of parts of the course
✔ presentation of accompanying methodology for teachers
✔ inspiration on how to practically use the course in teaching, which was created as part of a pilot verification by teachers in primary schools
✔ space for questions
